I have a home gym in my garage and space was an issue. This was the perfect machine to enable me to do so many different movements without taking too much space. If youre looking for a good quality well built machine that is compact, this is it. Only downside would be that it takes some time to get used to it. Youre gonna need to watch videos on how to use it before youre familiarized with it. But besides that, it works very well.
I’ve got to be honest, I was a PowerBlock dumbbell / kettlebell guy but, I had long outgrown present ones and my wife had taken them over. Trying to get the larger set of PB ones over here in Scotland was impossible, which led to me looking at others and I ended up at Freak Athlete. So, I did my research and, after a bit, went again my Scottish heritage and spent money!! The kettlebells were in short supply and I received one, then the other several months later (no biggie). They are, without a shadow of a doubt, the dogs bo**ocks of adjustable kettlebells! Amazing. The build, the ease of adjustment, the lack of the ‘clang’ sound during use, the design, the cool FA logo! I need to stay in shape for my work and I travel a lot - these guys, and my endless rope, are my companions from this point forward! Are there any down sides? Honestly, no. You can tell a lot of thought have went into these and, I’m sure, they will outlive me, given I’m 60 next year. Finally, a big shout out to the customer services team who continually kept me informed throughout the delay of the second KB. You guys genuinely did your company proud. All in all, a positive experience - not something a Scotsman usually says after parting with money! 😂
It’s missing all the nuts. It is scratched with deep dents and literally the hardware packaging shows that the washers are sealed where the nut should be. I can’t even put it together. Not to mention every bolt on that was tightened from the factory is scratched. Also, the first step of the video is to install the long bolt. That is listed as step 2 on the hardware packet.
What an upgrade to my home gym. This adds so many more options for workouts while using minimal space. Also the quality of this is top notch, a nice heavy solid bench for all kinds of lifts. 100% you will love this for a home gym!

I won’t lie, I was skeptical that I could find an all in one piece of equipment that met both excellent quality build, ease of use, and produced true results. Especially one claiming to be so versatile and allow so many important movements to be built into my fitness routine. However, I have fallen in love with the Freak Athlete Pro. As someone who has limited gym space at home it’s beyond a perfect fit. Furthermore, as a single role medic at a fire department, keeping my posterior chain, core, and legs strong and healthy is a requirement. The Freak Athlete Pro provides for me what would take a commercial gym membership with a host of equipment to fulfill. All at a fraction of the cost, a minimal footprint, and a premium design. Well done Freak Athlete!!

We bought the ABX, the Leg development attachment, the sit-up attachment, the dip bar, and the cable pulley attachment for our 16 year old grandson to use! Today was the 1st morning that he used it and he loves it!!! I ordered the power tower yesterday! We expect he will get great use from this system.
I am so pumped I pulled the trigger on the ABX weight bench. It was super easy to put together. It is a HEAVY DUTY bench, comfortable, extremely high quality. What I love most is how you can add accessories to this bench to make it a complete system. More to come on that soon, hope to add to it within the next few months. First one will be the ABX leg developer attachment. I did extensive research on benches knowing I wanted to invest in a high quality, well made bench that would last for a lifetime. I would put this bench up against any of the “major brands” in the space as this equipment is just as good if not better, and priced below those other options. Not to mention as I said above, the versatility of this bench with the ability to accessorize. Very happy with this purchase. Nice work Freak Athlete. This is my 2nd piece of equipment from FA, and definitely not my last!

Exactly as advertised and as we had hoped! This thing is rock solid, but still not super heavy like a lot of benches I’ve tried. The pads feel premium and the handles, knobs, and adjustments are all really well made and I know will honestly last a lifetime. Sure it’s expensive but it’s very much worth it.

ABX is extremely solid and handles whatever I throw at it. Zero gap system works well. What puts this bench over the others is the adjustable head rest, which I have found multiple uses for. The adjustability is extremely useful and you can get creative.

Perfect addition to my basement gym! I have been doing hyperextensions in the rack with quite the homemade setup. This is such a step up for hypers, as well as adding GHRs, QL raises and tons of other variations to boot. When I can afford to, I will get one for the physio clinic I work at as well.
These are so comfortable! I don’t have space for barbells so they’ve helped me progress my goblet squat a lot and I’m looking forward to progress to front racked squats as I get stronger. Orange isn’t my fave color and I wanted to increase the contrast of the weight, so I’ve visually adjusted my set with a dab of nail polish — I think they look pretty cool!
Great padding and easy to attach/detach! The rollers also are nice for elevated Bulgarian split squats.

Spent a month researching and totally happy with the no gap bench .
Got this bench to replace my crappy cheapo one from high school and I feel like I’ve gone from a clapped out Civic to a Lamborghini. Like, where has this been my whole life? Just how solid it is as well the segmented folding bench, it’s incredible. I’m finding out different ways to use it like chest support rows, flies, tricep extension rest, etc. I’m writing this about 4 months after I purchased it to make sure I really loved it and all I can say is that the leg developer is next. Highly recommend!
This may be the greatest engineering feat in training equipment history! The knob system is easy to use and allows you to tighten every part of the machine to eliminate any wiggle or instability. The padding is extremely comfortable but still firm enough to feel supportive. The vinyl quality is also really rare to find. Most vinyl pulls your hair, whereas this is extremely smooth and looks and feels premium. There’s no other machine on the planet that gives you this type of versatility in a home gym, especially for its footprint. The leg developer and leg curl both have a very consistent strength curve. And because you’re doing the leg extension on a flat pad, you can open up your hip angle and put the quads in a greater stretch, which most commercial leg extension machines don’t allow you to do. This machine is biggest flex right now haha! Couldn’t ask for anything better!
Love this bench! Very easy to assemble. Would have gotten done faster if i didn’t have the help of my 2 yr old. Very solid. I had no movement on my exercises. I also got the leg developer and no movement during either exercise . Highly recommend !

First go at getting a back work out in and it’s been great! Been able to simply set up for some super set work. Tomorrow begins the bicep work out with the attachment. I am a heavier guy as well(270lbs) and it feels extremely secure compared to my old bench.
