Great equipment for the lower body, I also use it a lot for back exercises, you can use the usual attachments and it works very well. Very happy with the leg developer!

Within this price range there will be no other machine what this one does. It feels very stable and targets the exact aera you would expect to work on a professional machine. Would definitely buy this again!

At 65, my body is telling me its seen some miles. Particularly lower body, stiff back, tight hips, knees and underdeveloped leg muscles. FA replaced a roman chair I had, which served a limited purpose which we had to get rid of after our 2nd flood!! And only after a few weeks my quality of life has improved 100% - I'm sleeping better, walking without discomfort and using stairs without hesitation. I'm even setting goals around returning to running in the medium term. The FA has changed my body functionality and become my foundation piece in my home gym. I cannot recommend the FA any higher, not to mention their superior after sales service is second to none.

Love it. The leg extension is even better than many commercial ones. The leg curl is also good. I didn't use the upper body kit as I already have pulleys. My leg workout at home is now complete with this and the belt squat

Awesome addition to my home gym! Hated doing squats but love leg day now with the belt squat attachment. I am 58 not 30 anymore and the leg attachment. With the upper body attachmant I am laying back and doing arm curls which mimic pulldown curls a la Mike Mentzer. My arms are growing after only a few weeks.Love everything about the Hyper Pro!

Excellent piece of equipment, I bought the Freak- Athlete bench primarily for back and leg exercises. As good as any gym equipment I've used anywhere.

I did not buy the upper body attachment, just the leg developer. I’ve been struggling with left knee pain for years and have gone for physio, x-rays, and osteopathy. Nothing helps. It’s muscle weakness and there’s no structural issue with my knee. I just have very weak hamstrings, quads and glutes!!! The first time I tried the hamstring curl with a 10lb weight plate, I could barely complete 10 reps. After one month, I can now curl a 25lb weight, 8 repsx3. Doesn’t sound like much, but it’s a big deal for me. I do a full body workout with free weights, core and legs using my Freak, 3 x week and love this machine! I also have hyper mobile joints and Freak provides the stability I need. I’m 55 yrs old and will use this machine for the rest of my life to maintain my strength and independence as I get older. Still exploring the possibilities, but very pleased so far. A detailed explanation of the velcro on the upper body workout straps would be appreciated. Still scratching my head a bit over them.

Probably the best "bench based" leg developer attachment I've ever tried, the ROM and strength curve feels great through the whole motion, especially in the low half.

In terms of effectiveness of the machine, it works well, I do not think the assembly, or rather the incorporation of the leg developer onto the hyper pro is at all easy or intuitive, I think further iteration is required, it does very much feel like an afterthought ‘bolt on’ to the hyper pro, rather than have a product that had multiple attachments considered on initial design. It is awkward, heavy and not easy neatly store away because of its shape. It would be nice if some thought had been given to this in terms of hooks or rings to provide placement where this could be stowed in a small footprint

Not able to complete set-up. Need new part as STEP 6 bolt not threading into the prebuilt piece. Something it wrong and I need a new part but nobody is getting back to me from support. Thanks, Cam

Hi, I have reached out to your customer support team to inform them of an issue that I encountered upon first setting up and using the leg developer attachment. Please see below. I first noticed an issue after initially setting up the bench and attempting to demonstrate how it works to my family. When trying to demonstrate the leg extension exercise and technique on the bench, the whole leg extension piece of equipment came away from the bench and fell towards the floor. I initially thought it was a problem with the clamp, so I tightened it some more. This happened a few times whilst using the leg extension piece of equipment in the first day or 2. It was only when I participated in a follow along training routine via the freak athlete website that I discovered what the actual cause of the issue was. When trying to follow the on screen instructions to set up the leg extension piece of equipment I was left confused by how the middle bar and middle rod on screen was configured compared to mine and how it actually functioned correctly. This is when I realised that the middle bar and middle rod were in the wrong positions. The first picture shows the configuration of the middle bar and middle rod how it arrived to me and the second photo shows how I adjusted the middle bar and rod so that the bench would work how it was designed. I believe this was caused by operator error during production/assembly so I would just like to make you aware to avoid any further potential safety concerns. I would also like to take this opportunity to share my appreciation for this fantastic product that you have created!! I have had severe knee pain and reduced mobility for a few years now and I'm already feeling stronger, more mobile and as a result more confident in my whole lower body thanks to this amazing piece of equipment and really helpful follow along training videos on YouTube (QR code) Keep up the amazing work Freak athlete team 💪🏽. The Leg Developer and Upper Body Kit are equally practical and can be used in just a few simple steps. However, this additional application option is likely designed for dual-use, as the whole thing becomes a bit crooked when used with one leg or one arm, and I'm not sure how this will affect its longevity. Furthermore, the two screw heads in the area of ​​the upper left and right foam rollers are very close to the padding, which rubs against each other when performing these functions. I also wonder how long this will last.

Works really well but is awkward to pick up / move / store. Shame really as it really distracts from a great product.

Pin for loading the weigts has a bulge that makes loading platws difucult since you need to force them in. I am using Rogue Bumper plates, also try some Rogue calibrated plates and have the same issue worh both

Great addition to the bench. Love that it allows you to do extensions under full stretch. Good for transitioning clients through plateaus

The leg curl portion feels great, but the leg extension i dont realy like, feels like the way its made kinda hurts the back of my knee when you lift heavy since they rest on rollers instead of on the bench like leg extension machines. But overall love the product. I havent realy tried the upper body kit to be honest i was getting the freak athlete bench for lower body since i already have plenty of upper body equipement.

A great piece and a worthwhile addition to the Hyper Pro. It makes the whole unit a complete package and was a perfect solution for my small home gym setup, where space is limited. The resistance profile is decent without being great, especially at the top of the range, and the fitment doesn't feel quite as secure as I'd like on heavier weight, but it's still excellent.
